Courts rule that pharma companies compelled to pay for Alameda County drug disposal

The Supreme Court has neglected to hear a case regarding Alameda County and the pharmaceutical industry. The lower court had already ruled that big pharma could be compelled to pay for the cleanup of drug disposal in the County, and the Supreme Court’s decision not to hear the case means that the ruling will remain intact. It is expected that other counties across the United States will also pass similar ordinances compelling big pharma to pay for drug disposal.
